What's Trending for Bridesmaids this 2023 Wedding Season

Yay! You’re getting married! Aside from searching for your dream dress you’re probably also gathering colour palette inspiration. This year we are starting to see bridesmaids having the option to personalise their look more and more. There are less rules around what to wear and more around your bridal party feeling comfortable whilst still looking amazing.

Below are current trends for your bride squad.

#1 Neutral Tones

Neutral tone colours are something that will never go out of style. This season we see more bridal parties using colours like browns, creams and beige as they tend to suit any kind of wedding, whether in a garden, church or even on a beach. It is an easy yet effective decision for the bride and will always complement her bridal party.

#2 Different Style

As we all know women have different body shapes. We are now seeing brides allowing their bridesmaids to select a dress style that suits their body shape and feels confident in. Although the dresses are different designs, the colour palate is still the same.

#3 The Mix & Match

The latest trend! This is where the bride will let her bridesmaids pick different styles of dresses and colours (but typically within the same colour family). For example, the bride has decided on blue and will give her bridesmaids the option of six colours and styles for them to choose from. This gives the bridesmaids more options and will make them more excited to wear something they picked out.

#4 Satin Fabric

Satin is becoming popular for this upcoming wedding season. This is because it is simple yet chic. As colours come and go each season/month/year satin will never go out of fashion. One thing to mention is that satin fabric can arguably make a re-wearable bridesmaid dress- meaning more value for money and your bridesmaid are able to re-wear it to other future occasions.
